Reading The Secret History for class thread

A great introduction to a character is being told he would remind you of Alfred Douglas and I immediately do not trust him to do anything short of ruin your life

Me: can't wait to see why we kill Bunny

Bunny: Look at all these f*****ts working in restaurants

Me: it's very valid to kill Bunny

Bunny is not dying fast enough good God

It feels so incredibly wild to even consider comparing this to if we were villains the difference is so stark

Henry you really thought your money was better spent escaping to Argentina than just bribing a jury

One thing I really like in how the characters are described is just

Henry being near invisible to ppl and they never notice his full size until its unavoidable

The further you were from Bunny the more you felt you knew him

It's some interesting concepts in the perception of ppl

The feeling of God you can't even be nice to rich ppl without them assuming you want smth
