Not as goofy as original and V3 but also we have a mostly naked jungle man running about speaking broken Japanese and befriending a mole. It’s a nice short cute series with some brutal suit destruction. The use of blood is about the same level as the first two series, it’s just a staple of showa that the villains want to keep fish tanks full of blood for random reasons.

I do think the second half of amazon just had the worst case of solve everything via deus ex machina I’ve seen in any rider. The gigi bracelet sure has a load of random powers now, even though they’re sometimes completely unnecessary. It wouldn’t of made that much of a difference if we just let Mogura dig him out, we didn’t need ancient magic to save him.

I love Amazon so much, he’s so sweet and confused. I’m so proud of him managing to learn Japanese and not immediately using it to go home. He’s such a sweet boy and I appreciate his reaction to Mogura suggesting they eat their captives is “not yet”. Amazon, you unintentionally caused 3 problem children with that line.
